To run the metaio Creator 2.5 on your system, we recommend:
- Operating System: Windows Vista / Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) OR Mac OS X 10.7, 10.8
- Dual core processor with at least 1.7 GHZ (Quad core recommended)
- 3D graphics card with at least OpenGL 2.0 (Windows)/OpenGL 3.5 (Mac) support
- 2 GB of RAM (4 GB recommended)
Please note:
- The actual requirements vary with the size of the 3D-models, the required frame rates and the complexity of the AR-application.
- Running the Creator inside a virtual machine (like VMware, Parallels, etc.) is not supported
In addition to the hardware requirements you need:
- a free metaio Cloud account (free sign up here)
- a web server that supports FTP upload and HTTP access to the uploaded files (if you want to host the content on your own server)
